CASE STUDY: WINGATE BY WYNDHAM
Wingate by Wyndham had recently been refurbished with updated guestroom accommodations throughout. Dirty window exteriors, however, did not fit into this plan! While cleaning of ground floor windows was simple enough, upper floors (2 through 4) posed a problem. The client needed these windows to be cleaned without the use of lifts or scaffolds or roof rope access as these options require additional Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) costs.
As the team of the local ServiceMaster franchise reviewed the problem, they quickly came up with a solution that was a win-win. A system was developed incorporating different lengths of poles with a water holding tank along with a water purifying attachment. The different lengths allowed technicians on the ground to reach the windows on all the upper floors while the purifying attachment eliminates the squeegee process without leaving any spots and streaks.
